Adult Faith Enrichment

Do you want to grow deeper in your Catholic faith?

Do you know someone who might be inquiring about the Catholic faith or wants to explore full communion with the Church?

Have you been coming to Mass with your spouse, family member, or friend but now seek to explore the Catholic faith?

Are you a cradle Catholic who wants to strengthen their understanding of the faith?

If you answered yes to any of these questions then our Faith Enrichment meetings are for you!

We invite you to experience our Faith Enrichment meetings each Thursday to learn about Catholic teachings and enrich your faith. Fr. Jo along with guest speakers share in depth knowledge and discussions around various topics within Catholic doctrine each week. Some discussions lead into a multi-week series while others conclude in one evening. You may attend one or all meetings as you like. Books and learning resources are provided to compliment the discussions.

These meetings are designed to enhance or enrich your Catholic faith. These meetings are not designed to replace the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA), which are designed to bring candidates into full communion with the Catholic church.  The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) is the process established for the universal Church for individuals to become Catholic and receive the sacraments of initiation — Baptism, Confirmation, and the Eucharist. Faith Enrichment meetings, however, could be attended concurrent with our OCIA meetings which occur on a separate evening.

Here is a small sample of the topics previously discussed:

  • Bible studies
  • Eucharist in the Life of Believers
  • Marian Dogmas
  • St. Augustine: Sinner, Confessor, Doctor of Grace
  • Relics and Images: Arts in the Service of Religion
  • Religious Persecutions through the Ages
  • The Holy Spirit: Divine Person, Unction, and Advocate
  • What does the Church teach about Indulgence, and how do you receive it?

Our Faith Enrichment meetings occur each Thursday from 6:30-8:30pm throughout the year (except summer months) at the Parish Hall.
