Jubilee Year of Hope

Jubilee Year of Hope

The opening of the Jubilee Year of Hope for the Universal Church took place on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2024.

Twelve (12) pilgrim sites have been chosen for the faithful to travel around the Diocese throughout the year to pray and strive for a greater integration of the theological virtue of Hope in their lives.

Each of these selected parishes will host a First Saturday Mass at 10 am with Bishop Konderla or the Vicar General as celebrant and homilist at each location.

In order to participate actively in the Jubilee of Hope, a Pilgrim’s Passport will be assigned to every Catholic in the Diocese of Tulsa. The passport has a column to inscribe your personal information, the full program of the Jubilee Year in our diocese, including month-to-month themes, schedules, and venues. For example, the theme and intention for December 2025 is: “Prisoners and those being persecuted.” The venue will be here at St. John’s; and the date is December 6, 2025, with Mass celebrated by Bishop Konderla. Kindly acquaint yourself with the Jubilee Passport and see which themes interest you. You are also invited to pray daily the “Pilgrimage of Hope Jubilee Prayer,” preferably as family.
